A ceramic designer based in Stoke-On-Trent.

I am inspired by the ever changing forms seen in flowers.I draw the stages of development using black ink and bamboo stick. I then construct my ceramic pieces out of porcelain in response to the sketches. The porcelain allows me to explore and challenge the material, directly screen-printing onto the wet clay before it is stretched and formed. This process is very important to me, the right aesthetic and technical choices enabling me to develop a personal, unique visual language.

A graduate of Wolverhampton University (BA Hons Ceramics).
